The University of Canterbury's Postgraduate Diploma in Youth and Community Leadership (PGDipYACL) enhances your leadership capabilities while cultivating essential management and entrepreneurial competencies for community impact. This program builds upon your existing academic foundation to strengthen leadership abilities, while also empowering current leaders with vital management and innovation skills for community application.
You will need to have completed an Aotearoa New Zealand bachelor's degree or a graduate diploma with an average B Grade Point Average or better, or have other approved qualifications of an equivalent standard.
Applicants must also satisfy our English language entry requirements:
IELTS (Academic): An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
TOEFL (IBT): Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing, and listening.
PTE (Pearson Test of English - Academic): PTE with an overall score of 58 and no PTE communicative skills score below 50.
