The Postgraduate Certificate in Te Reo Maori (PGCertTREO) provides language speakers with a chance to enhance their abilities while gaining formal acknowledgment of their progress. This program serves as an excellent choice for individuals lacking prior university-level te reo education or any tertiary study, yet possess substantial language experience and work within Maori-focused fields.

Those who obtain official certification of their te reo proficiency will discover employment prospects across various sectors, including education, media production, authorship and interpretation services, public sector roles, corporate communications and community relations, as well as creative industries.

Certificate holders will additionally be equipped to support expanding indigenous language revival efforts led by tribal communities, while preserving and promoting New Zealand's unique cultural heritage.
