If you're considering a career in sports, this coursework-focused Master's program lets you specialize or expand your knowledge base.
The curriculum incorporates cutting-edge sports science research and insights from both UC faculty and external experts, equipping you with modern competencies. You'll enjoy the freedom to select courses across various disciplines including biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports psychology, sports nutrition, strength training, and performance evaluation.
This 1.5-year Master's program can pave the way for roles in elite sports or help current professionals enhance and refresh their sports science expertise.
To enrol, you should have previously completed a sport and/or science-related Aotearoa New Zealand degree, or equivalent, and normally should have achieved at least a B Grade Point Average in 300-level courses in the degree.
Applicants must also satisfy our English language entry requirements:
IELTS (Academic): An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
TOEFL (IBT): Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing, and listening.
PTE (Pearson Test of English - Academic): PTE with an overall score of 58 and no PTE communicative skills score below 50.
