The Master of Science in Speech and Language Sciences is a full-time, one-year graduate program allowing students to focus on their preferred specialization. Alongside writing a thesis, participants can choose advanced clinical theory and supervision training or research methodology and statistics courses. For those balancing work or family responsibilities, or unable to move to Canterbury, a two-year part-time distance learning alternative exists. Enrollment in the part-time program needs authorization from both the Department Head and the Dean of Science.

You must have completed one of the following:
Bachelor of Science
Bachelor of Science with Honours
Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology with Honours
Postgraduate Diploma in Science
Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering Geology
or any bachelor's degree and a qualifying programme.

IELTS: An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
TOEFL iBT :Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing and listening.
