The Master of Fire Engineering Studies (MFireEngSt) explores testing and designing high-performance structures with sustainable and fire-durable materials.This taught-master's degree is designed for Science and Engineering graduates that want to focus their career on designing fire control and smoke safety in buildings - including detectors, ventilation, heat transfer and release, and suppression and extinguishing systems.Your practical experiences in this degree will prepare you to meet industry demand and work within regulations and procedures for fire safety and engineering.Work alongside insurance companies, construction, emergency services, and research institutions.Career pathways could include: fire safety and prevention, architectural design, risk assessment, civil and structural engineering.
