Psychology examines human and animal behavior through biological, cognitive, and social perspectives using scientific methods. This dynamic discipline influences every aspect of human existence. Cutting-edge technologies like neuroimaging and molecular biology are dramatically improving our comprehension of brain function, while sophisticated theories emerge to explain both typical and atypical development across individuals and communities. Significant progress continues in addressing mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance dependencies.

Psychology students develop skills to:
analyze psychological concepts with independent, critical thinking, master core methodologies, significant discoveries, and principal psychological theories, differentiate between credible research and questionable assertions
comprehend contemporary psychological studies using scientific approaches.
