The Postgraduate Diploma in Science (PGDipSci) enables Bachelor of Science graduates to enhance their academic credentials. This program allows you to deepen your expertise through specialized coursework or by undertaking a research project or dissertation. The PGDipSci serves as a stepping stone to master's and PhD programs. You can complete this one-year full-time program or extend it over four years part-time after earning your BSc degree. The PGDipSci and MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology blend academic knowledge with practical clinical training, equipping students for careers in this field. The curriculum focuses on building theoretical foundations while honing practical skills in assessment, data interpretation, exercise programming, and prescription. Participants gain 200 hours of direct clinical experience during the PGDipSci, plus an additional 400 hours when progressing to the MSc.
