Qualification Requirements
In order to be admitted to this postgraduate diploma a student must have:
(i) completed the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from this University, or the equivalent as approved by Senate or its representative
(ii) hold current registration either with the Medical Council of New Zealand or as a Medical Practitioner in their country of domicile
(iii) have at least one year of relevant professional work experience
(i) completed the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing Science from this University, or the equivalent as approved by Senate or its representative
(ii) hold current registration as a registered nurse in New Zealand or with an overseas nursing regulatory body approved by the Head of School of Nursing
IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5 and no bands below 6.0
Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - Overall score of 90 and a written score of 21
Paper-based TOEFL - Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21
