The PGDipArts serves as an alternative pathway to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours). It offers a diverse selection of Arts disciplines, with the potential option to incorporate a dissertation. This program could suit you if you prefer advanced coursework without a dissertation requirement, if your home country doesn't recognize honors degrees, or if you need flexible part-time study options. You'll explore specialized subjects and conduct independent research in fields including: Pacific region politics, cultural studies, health systems, economic structures, environmental issues, social dynamics and historical perspectives, Pacific linguistics and language education, multidisciplinary Pacific studies, indigenous knowledge systems, creative and performing arts, cultural philosophies, as well as migration patterns, identity formation and transnational networks throughout the Pacific region and Pacific Rim nations, particularly focusing on New Zealand connections.
