The PGDipArts serves as an alternative pathway to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours). It offers extensive options across Arts disciplines, with the potential to incorporate a dissertation. This program could suit you if you prefer advanced studies without a dissertation requirement, if your home country doesn't recognise honours degrees, or if you need flexible part-time study options. Gender Studies explores diverse themes including political, historical, social, literary and educational perspectives. The curriculum examines subjects like domestic gender roles, workplace dynamics, gender-based violence, Pacific cultural gender norms, and representations of gender in media. Students may also select complementary courses from other Arts departments such as History, Anthropology, and Sociology.
