For those contemplating a career in ICT, the PGCertInfoTech serves as an excellent starting point. This rigorous program provides an accelerated pathway into the ICT field, particularly suited for individuals holding undergraduate degrees in non-ICT disciplines. Participants will acquire core competencies in software development, including contemporary expertise in object-oriented programming, web technologies, and database systems - enhancing their existing analytical and communication skills. The ICT Graduate School, a joint initiative between the University of Auckland and the University of Waikato, delivers postgraduate IT education designed to produce skilled, job-ready ICT professionals. Successful completion results in a PGCertInfoTech qualification jointly conferred by both institutions.
