This postgraduate certificate provides access to a wide variety of health science-related courses. You can pursue a general program or focus on a specific discipline. Designed for healthcare practitioners, this qualification allows for specialization at an advanced level based on your chosen field. Please note that while the University of Auckland offers this program, it does not participate in graduate hiring and cannot ensure professional registration or job opportunities in New Zealand or elsewhere. The Women's Health specialization within the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences targets nurses, physicians, midwives, and radiographers looking to enhance their expertise. Graduates will gain the ability to offer comprehensive reproductive health guidance to women. Depending on their professional qualifications, practitioners may also become qualified to prescribe treatments in this field. The School of Medicine administers this specialization, with all courses available through distance education.
You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in a health-related discipline such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology, or social work.
