With a minimum of three years of professional or industry experience, you can join this program even without holding a degree. The PGCertFA provides a versatile entry point for postgraduate studies in Fine Arts. This certification blends an intensive studio practice with modern theoretical frameworks and specialized technical training. You'll work alongside peers who share your artistic medium, guided by an experienced Fine Arts faculty member. Designed to enhance your creative abilities, the PGCertFA is particularly valuable for educators, artists, designers, and community arts professionals. After earning this certificate, your coursework may count toward a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Arts, which can be completed with an additional semester and serves as a stepping stone to a Master of Fine Arts degree.
You must have completed a Bachelors degree at a recognised university (or similar institution), with a grade point equivalent of 3.5.
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 and no bands less than 6.0; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
