This NZPI-accredited degree emphasizes policy development, sustainable urban development, urban design, economic factors, socio-cultural considerations, and infrastructure planning. Students develop essential knowledge and leadership skills to navigate the complexities of contemporary urban challenges. The program offers opportunities to pursue combined degrees with other built environment disciplines. Grounded in cutting-edge urban planning research, the curriculum explores exemplary planning practices from New Zealand and worldwide.
