Acquire specialized expertise to improve child healthcare in your medical practice. This diploma is designed for registered medical professionals practicing in New Zealand. Qualification Requirements

In order to be admitted to this degree, a student must have: either a (i) completed the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from this University with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher, or the equivalent as approved by Senate or its representative and (ii) hold current registration either with the Medical Council of New Zealand or as a Medical Practitioner in their country of domicile and (iii) have at least one year of relevant professional work experience or b (i) completed the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing Science from this University with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher, or the equivalent as approved by Senate or its representative and (ii) hold current registration as a registered nurse in New Zealand or with an overseas nursing regulatory body approved by the Head of School of Nursing and (iii) have completed, or be currently enrolled in, a Nursing Council of New Zealand accredited Nurse Practitioner Masters degree programme or c passed 60 points in the Postgraduate Certificate in Paediatrics or Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatrics from this University with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher, provided that the postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma has not been awarded.
