The Master of Music (MMus) program enhances your musical abilities, preparing you for advanced careers in various music fields. At this level, you can focus on one of four specializations – performance, composition, musicology, or studio pedagogy. You'll explore your unique interests and strengths, develop independent musical thinking, and critically examine theories and practices shaping your field. Graduate music studies increase opportunities for thriving performance or composition careers while also opening doors to academic and research roles, allowing you to contribute to significant music and arts initiatives. The research-focused master's track is perfect for students undertaking substantial projects, whether multifaceted or concentrated on a specific subject. This pathway also offers the flexibility to incorporate elective coursework alongside your research.
