The MLitt serves as an alternative to a PhD for those holding a master's degree who wish to pursue an extensive research project. This program is available across most disciplines within the Faculty of Arts, pending approval and supervisory availability. You may choose to deepen your research in your existing field or explore a completely new area of study. The MLitt can enhance various academic or professional paths, particularly for those not pursuing doctoral studies. Gender Studies explores diverse themes including politics, history, society, literature, and education. The curriculum examines subjects like gender dynamics in domestic, professional, and public spheres, gender-based violence, gender relations in Pacific cultures, and representations of gender in media. Additionally, students can select complementary courses from other Arts disciplines such as History, Anthropology, and Sociology.
You need to have completed a masters degree in any discipline from a recognised university (or similar institution) with a GPE of 4.0 or higher.
