Students can explore interdisciplinary opportunities by selecting one or two master's courses (maximum 30 credits) from other University of Auckland faculties. Choose from more than 30 specialized courses to focus on specific legal fields or explore diverse subjects. The LLM can be completed through coursework, research projects, or a blend of both approaches. This curriculum enables deeper examination of legal topics beyond undergraduate levels, featuring both specialized law analyses and policy-focused studies. Every course incorporates substantial research elements, typically culminating in a 12,500-word essay for 30-credit classes.
