New Zealand’s infrastructure is expected to grow dramatically in the next 20 years. Our new buildings, roads and water systems are going to need people who know how to take care of them. Get a head start in this exciting field with the MInfraAssetMgt, designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge and expertise to be effective employees in an essential field. There is a significant demand for qualified asset infrastructure management professionals across a range of disciplines. Potential career paths include data management and analytics, or senior roles in investment planning applications and management of linear infrastructure networks (pipes, roads and power networks). Employers in network management, maintenance and renewal planning, councils, government-owned assets and other utilities are leading the search for professionals in the field. This growing demand aligns with increasing expenditure in infrastructure both in New Zealand and globally for the next 20 years.
