This adaptable program is available as both 120-point and 180-point degree options. The 120-point version caters to students who've completed a year of equivalent postgraduate study. The curriculum features three foundational courses covering essential subjects like disaster risk management, resilience strategies, and project management, along with a 45-point research project spanning two semesters—where you'll explore a disaster management-related topic. Concentrating on disaster resilience and risk reduction, the MDisMgt program develops practical skills for tackling complex challenges in high-stakes situations. We take a comprehensive approach to disaster management, teaching you how to design frameworks, establish policies, and develop solutions. A mandatory research project allows you to showcase critical thinking and analytical abilities by independently addressing real-world disaster scenarios.
