The MCivilEng degree provides both research-based and coursework-based study paths. The research track offers either a 120-point or 90-point thesis option. Graduates from either the research track or the coursework track (with a 30-point research component) may qualify for Honours recognition and potential PhD advancement.
The 120-point option is designed for students holding our 4-year BE(Hons) or similar qualification. The 180-point pathway caters to those with an applicable undergraduate degree.
