Starting in 2019, Classical Studies and Ancient History merged into one BA major. First-year options include classical mythology and ancient history, while advanced courses cover warfare, religion, Egyptian language, art, gender studies, political shifts, and daily life in antiquity. You'll explore literary forms like epic poetry, tragedy, comedy, and love poetry, examine Egyptian art and religion from non-Western viewpoints, delve into Mediterranean archaeology, or study iconic historical figures such as Alexander the Great and Cleopatra.
You must have completed a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised university (or similar institution).
