A BHScLLB(Hons) combined degree enables you to earn both a BHSc and LLB(Hons) more efficiently than pursuing them individually. Researchers are investigating and tackling modern societal issues, while legislators create frameworks for emerging scientific fields like climate policy, genetic engineering, and biotech innovations. As scientific breakthroughs expand our knowledge, the need grows for legal experts with scientific literacy and scientists versed in legal procedures. Graduates with a BScLLB(Hons) dual degree possess exceptional career prospects across scientific and legal fields. The University of Auckland Law School's honors program is highly regarded, equipping students with superior research and writing abilities that enhance their qualifications for policy and research positions. For those with scientific aptitude, this combined degree opens pathways to specialties like environmental law, patent law, or scientific fields including biotech, IT, and forensic science.

Geography examines the evolution of human and natural systems and their ongoing transformations. Geographers study critical issues affecting communities worldwide, working to resolve environmental shifts, developmental disparities, and social inequities across different scales. This dynamic discipline appeals to those curious about our changing world and committed to creating meaningful impact. Geography tackles pressing modern concerns including: climate impacts and coastal flooding, water pollution, economic disparities, sustainable urban development, population movements, public health policies, city pollution, indigenous sovereignty, and ecosystem conservation.
