A conjoint BGlobalStBHSc will expose students to new ways of thinking about the healthcare sector. It will help shape them as informed citizens who can make a difference in an increasingly globalised world. The degree could lead to a wide range of opportunities in the areas of politics and government, international development, foreign affairs, mental health, managed care, biostatistics, information technology, healthcare programme design and evaluation, and academic research. Through the Global Studies component, students will gain competency in another language, and develop skills for employment, such as leadership, teamwork, public speaking, critical thinking, research, and intercultural communication. There are four majors in the BGlobalSt component of this conjoint: Global Environment and Sustainable Development, Global Politics and Human Rights, International Relations and Business, and Transnational Cultures and Creative Practice.
