Students who achieve a B grade or above in Part III of the Bachelor of Fine Arts qualify to apply for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) program in their fourth year. This honors program enables you to enhance your artistic practice through advanced individual research. Building on the foundational skills and knowledge gained in Parts I, II, and III of the BFA, the BFA(Hons) focuses on refining your chosen artistic medium through critical analysis, seminars, and constructive feedback. The curriculum is designed to elevate your artistic capabilities while deepening your insight into contemporary art within diverse cultural frameworks. You'll undertake a year-long creative project, resulting in either a significant artwork or exhibition, accompanied by critical writing that reflects your year's research.
