The Civil Engineering specialization focuses on structures, urban infrastructure, and environmental stewardship. Our curriculum provides a balanced education with practical applications of mathematical and scientific principles. You'll acquire skills such as designing load-bearing structures and solving critical infrastructure challenges for modern urban areas. Environmental considerations form a significant component, covering topics like sustainable construction practices and effective stormwater/waste management systems. We're also integrating mātauranga Māori into coursework, projects, and research to enhance learning and strengthen the discipline's relevance in New Zealand and globally.
