French language courses are available for all proficiency levels, including complete beginners. Choose from various offerings on Francophone literature and culture, with some classes conducted entirely in French. Academic options span French literary works, cinema, historical studies, medieval research, linguistic analysis, and translation techniques. The program also provides chances to complete study abroad experiences in French-speaking nations. As part of a BA double major, you can specialize in French by completing at least 120 points (eight courses) for each major, including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
