The BALLB conjoint program enables you to earn both a BA and LLB degree faster and with fewer credit requirements than pursuing them individually. By studying Law, you'll gain versatile abilities that meet the rigorous demands of diverse career paths, both within and beyond the legal field. Pair your legal education with various subjects across humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and languages. The BALLB program fosters essential competencies for multiple professions, providing legal knowledge, an understanding of justice, and civic awareness. Our alumni practice law across New Zealand and internationally while embracing emerging opportunities from societal, technological, and business advancements.
Tailor yourMaori Studies selection to align with your interests and professional aspirations. Options includeMaori language, media studies, cultural artifacts, history, political systems, and traditional performing arts (kapa haka). You may pursueMaori Studies as one of your two BA specializations (double major). Each major requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
