A BABHSc combined degree enables you to earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This interdisciplinary program explores biological, social, and behavioral community factors. It examines health determinants, wellness initiatives, illness prevention, medical systems, and health regulations. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and prevention strategies for community health issues – while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and language courses. The BABHSc offers comprehensive non-clinical training for various health sector careers. Potential roles include wellness advocacy, health instruction, public health initiatives, guidance services, and healthcare system design. Please note: The University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional certification or job opportunities in New Zealand or internationally.
Psychology can serve as one of your two BA specializations (dual major). Completion requires passing a minimum of 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at advanced level.
