A combined BABHSc degree enables you to earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This interdisciplinary program explores biological, social, and behavioral community factors. It emphasizes health determinants, wellness initiatives, illness prevention, medical systems, and health policies. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and disease prevention strategies for community health issues – while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and language courses. The BABHSc offers comprehensive non-clinical training for various health sector careers. Potential roles include wellness advocacy, health instruction, public health initiatives, guidance services, and healthcare system design. Please note the University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional certification or job opportunities in New Zealand or internationally.

Students earn a globally recognized credential, develop superior research capabilities, and acquire expertise in cutting-edge scientific disciplines. The Hikitia Te Ora – Certificate in Health Sciences provides additional population health education. This year-long preparatory course helps Māori and Pacific Islander students transition from high school or community settings into health science programs like the Bachelor of Health Sciences.
