A BABHSc combined degree lets you earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This program integrates biological, social, and community behavioral perspectives, concentrating on health determinants, promotion strategies, disease prevention, healthcare systems, and policy. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and prevention concepts to address community health issues – while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, culture, and language courses. The BABHSc offers a comprehensive non-clinical education that equips graduates for various health sector roles. Potential career paths include health education, community wellness initiatives, counseling services, and healthcare system design. Please note: The University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional registration or job opportunities in New Zealand or internationally.
As part of your BA requirements, you may specialize in Logic and Computation as one of two majors (double major). This requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level. Browse undergraduate Logic and Computation courses available for this specialization. Typically, students complete Stage I courses in their first year, Stage II in their second, and Stage III in their third year.
