A BABHSc combined degree lets you earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This program explores biological, social, and behavioral community factors, concentrating on health determinants, promotion strategies, disease prevention, healthcare systems, and policies. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and prevention concepts to address community health issues – while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, cultures, and language courses. The BABHSc offers comprehensive non-clinical training for various health sector careers, including health education, community health initiatives, counseling services, and healthcare system planning. Please note: The University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional registration or job opportunities in New Zealand or internationally.
Korean language classes will develop your communication abilities and allow you to understand basic contemporary Korean writings. You can also explore Korean culture, literature, and social structures. Korean can be one of your two BA specializations (dual major). Each major requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses), including 45 points (three courses) at advanced levels.
