A BABHSc combined degree lets you earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This program explores the biological, social, and behavioral dimensions of communities, emphasizing health determinants, promotion strategies, disease prevention, healthcare systems, and policy. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and prevention concepts to address community health issues while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, and language courses. The BABHSc offers comprehensive non-clinical training for various health sector careers, including health education, community services, counseling, and healthcare planning. Please note: The University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional registration or job opportunities in New Zealand or internationally.

Language courses are available at all levels to develop Italian speaking, reading, and writing skills. Advanced students can pursue study abroad opportunities at Italian universities during Stages II and III. The program also covers Italian society, modern literature and film, plus medieval and Renaissance studies. While many courses use Italian texts, some English-based options exist for non-language students.
