A BABHSc combined degree enables you to earn both a BA and BHSc faster than pursuing them individually. This interdisciplinary program explores biological, social, and behavioral community factors, concentrating on health determinants, wellness initiatives, illness prevention, medical systems, and health regulations. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and disease prevention strategies to address specific community health issues – while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and language courses. The BABHSc offers comprehensive non-clinical training that equips graduates for various health sector roles. Potential career paths include wellness advocacy, health instruction, public health initiatives, guidance services, and healthcare system design. Please note the University of Auckland doesn't oversee graduate employment and cannot ensure professional certification or job opportunities in New Zealand or internationally.

The program offers diverse course options covering multiple themes, cultures, geographic regions, and historical eras. Study options include New Zealand's past, Māori and Indigenous heritage, European chronicles, American annals, along with Asian, Australian, and Pacific historical narratives. Students develop both historical knowledge and analytical abilities: cultivating evaluative and innovative thought processes while mastering research techniques, evidence assessment, interpretation methods, and historical presentation skills.
