Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course combines academic learning with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering disciplines with diverse subjects from humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and languages. Every Engineering specialization is accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.

The program offers variousMaori Studies options tailored to your aspirations and professional objectives. Options includeMaori language, media studies, cultural artifacts, historical perspectives, political systems, and traditional performing arts (kapa haka). You may selectMaori Studies as one of your two BA majors (a dual major). Completion requires passing a minimum of 120 points (eight courses) for each major, including at least 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
