Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the skills to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course combines theory and hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for tackling intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering disciplines with diverse subjects from humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The distinctive competencies gained through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging opportunities in societal, technological, and business advancements. All Engineering specializations are accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.

French language courses cater to all proficiency levels, from beginners onward. Options include French literature and cultural studies, with some classes conducted in French. Explore areas like French literature, cinema, history, medieval studies, linguistics, and translation. Study Abroad opportunities in Francophone countries are also available. As part of a BA double major, French can serve as one specialization, requiring completion of at least 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III.
