Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course combines academic learning with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You have the option to pair any of our nine engineering disciplines with diverse studies in humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The distinctive capabilities acquired through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging prospects in societal, technological, and commercial advancements. Every Engineering specialization is accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
As part of your dual BA majors, you may select Education as one specialization. Suitable companion majors for a BA in Education include Psychology and Sociology. Alternatively, you could opt for a second major in fields like Anthropology or languages to broaden your academic scope. To fulfill major requirements, you must complete a minimum of 120 points (eight courses) for each major, including at least 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
