Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course combines academic learning with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering concentrations with diverse studies in humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The distinctive capabilities acquired through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging prospects shaped by societal, technological, and commercial advancements. Every Engineering specialization is accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
Mathematics can serve as one of your two BA majors (forming a double major). Suitable BA pairings with Mathematics include Philosophy or Logic and Computation. To broaden your academic scope, your secondary major could be selected from other BA disciplines like Sociology or History. Each major requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
