Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course combines academic study with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering disciplines with diverse subjects from humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The distinctive competencies acquired through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging prospects in societal, technological, and commercial advancements. Every Engineering specialization is accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
As part of your double major BA, you may choose Politics and International Relations as one specialization. This requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III. Earning a Bachelor of Arts with a Politics and International Relations major provides understanding of key areas: International relations, Political theory, Media and politics, Comparative politics, and Public policy.
