Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the skills to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course combines academic theory with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering disciplines with diverse subjects from humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The distinctive capabilities you'll acquire through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging opportunities in societal, technological, and commercial advancements. Every Engineering specialization is accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
Geography can be selected as one of your two BA majors (forming a double major). Complementary BA majors to Geography include Political Science, International Relations, Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology. To broaden your academic scope, you could opt for a second major from other BA disciplines like Media Studies, Film and Television, or Literature. Each major requires completion of at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
