You can pair any of our nine engineering concentrations with diverse subjects from the humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and languages. Every Engineering specialization is accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
Gender Studies explores diverse themes including political systems, historical contexts, social structures, literary works, and educational frameworks. The curriculum examines subjects like domestic gender dynamics, professional environments and civic participation, gender-based violence, gender norms in Pacific Island communities, representations of gender in media, among others. Students can also select complementary courses from other Arts disciplines such as History, Anthropology, and Sociology.
