Our BABE(Hons) program equips you with the abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy. This five-year course integrates academic learning with hands-on experience, enabling you to enhance your technical expertise with versatile skills and analytical thinking crucial for addressing intricate challenges. You can pair any of our nine engineering disciplines with diverse subjects from humanities, social sciences, cultures, and languages. The distinctive capabilities acquired through BABE(Hons) will position you advantageously to capitalize on emerging prospects shaped by societal, technological, and commercial advancements. Every Engineering specialization is accredited by Engineering New Zealand, ensuring international recognition of this qualification.
Education can be selected as one of your two BA majors (forming a double major). Psychology and Sociology pair well with a BA in Education. Alternatively, you might opt for a second major in Anthropology or a language to broaden your academic perspective. To complete each major, you must successfully complete at least 120 points (eight courses), including a minimum of 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
