The BABCom conjoint program allows you to blend fundamental business studies with diverse humanities, social sciences, languages, and cultural subjects. This program equips you with vital competencies to navigate and succeed in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will open doors to various career paths and professional environments. Typically spanning four years, the BABCom lets you select up to two majors for the BA portion, with four or five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom component begins with seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). This conjoint degree cultivates valuable career assets like superior communication abilities, analytical and innovative problem-solving, research proficiency, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. You'll gain competitive advantages to capitalize on emerging opportunities across evolving social, technological, and business landscapes.
Gender Studies explores diverse themes including political, historical, social, literary, and educational dimensions. The curriculum examines gender dynamics in domestic, professional, and public spheres, gender-based violence, Pacific cultural perspectives, and media representations. You can complement these studies with courses from related Arts disciplines like History, Anthropology, and Sociology. Gender Studies can serve as one of your two BA majors (double major), requiring completion of at least 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
