Through a BABCom conjoint degree, you'll blend fundamental business studies with diverse humanities, social sciences, and language disciplines. This program equips you with vital competencies to navigate and succeed in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will open doors to various career paths across multiple industries. Typically spanning four years, this degree allows you to select one or two majors for the BA portion, with four to five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom component begins with seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). This conjoint program cultivates valuable professional skills including enhanced communication, analytical and creative problem-solving, research proficiency, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. You'll gain the tools to capitalize on emerging opportunities across evolving social, technological, and business landscapes.
Criminology extends beyond criminal acts. Pursuing a BA with a Criminology major lets you examine broader penal system issues and themes like: Correctional facilities, Substance abuse and violent behavior, Media representations of crime. You'll analyze how social, economic, cultural, political, and legal factors influence criminal behavior while studying crime prevention approaches both domestically and globally. Criminology can serve as one of your two BA majors (double major option). Each major requires completing at least 120 points (eight courses), including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III level.
