Through a BABCom conjoint degree, you'll merge fundamental business studies with diverse humanities, social sciences, cultures, and language subjects. This program equips you with vital skills to navigate and succeed in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will open doors to various career paths and professional environments. Typically spanning four years, the BABCom allows you to select up to two majors for the BA portion, with four or five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom component begins with seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). This conjoint degree cultivates valuable career competencies including enhanced communication, critical and creative analysis, research proficiency, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. You'll be prepared to capitalize on emerging opportunities across evolving societal, technological, and business landscapes.
The curriculum explores diverse subjects from human evolution to contemporary society, covering: Examination of historical human behavior through archaeological evidence Human adaptation to environmental changes Cross-cultural studies from indigenous communities to modern societies The role of music across different cultures Anthropology can be pursued as one of your two BA majors (double major option). Each major requires completion of at least 120 points (eight courses), including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III.
