Through a BABCom conjoint degree, you'll blend fundamental business and enterprise studies with diverse humanities, social sciences, cultures, and language subjects. This program equips you with vital skills to navigate and succeed in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will open doors to various career paths and work environments. Typically spanning four years, the BABCom allows you to select up to two majors for the BA portion, with four or five BA courses annually. You may also opt for up to two modules. The BCom component includes seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). This conjoint degree cultivates valuable career competencies like advanced communication, critical and creative thinking, research proficiency, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. You'll gain excellent preparation to capitalize on emerging opportunities in evolving social, technological, and business landscapes.
Your coursework will include Stage II Academic English Studies (ACADENG) designed for non-native English speakers. If your English proficiency requires improvement, you'll complete Stage I ACADENG courses first. The program combines academic English with linguistic structure studies (phonetics, morphology, syntax, and semantics) while exploring language acquisition theories and teaching methodologies.
