The Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) program is tailored for aspiring researchers. Ideal for students aiming for postgraduate studies, pairing it with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) allows you to merge scientific expertise with legal disciplines like environmental policy, human rights, and medical jurisprudence. Modern scientists tackle pressing global issues, while legislators create frameworks around emerging fields like climate policy, genetic engineering, and biotech. This synergy drives demand for legally-trained scientists and scientifically-literate lawyers. Graduates of the BAdvSci(Hons)LLB(Hons) dual degree gain competitive advantages across both fields. Beyond core legal competencies from the LLB program, honors students develop superior research and analytical capabilities, qualifying them for policy and research roles. Career paths span environmental law, patent law, medical jurisprudence, or scientific sectors like biotech, IT, or forensic analysis. Note: Legal practice requires completing a three-month Professional Legal Studies course post-LLB graduation for bar admission.
