This Master's program caters specifically to individuals aiming to launch a career in professional accounting. As a conversion course, it efficiently covers fundamental knowledge and skills while cultivating advanced competencies, enabling you to enter the workforce promptly. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree (or possess equivalent professional qualifications) – your previous field of study doesn't matter, as the program enhances your existing diverse abilities. These include analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, technical accounting proficiency, and research skills applicable across various business sizes, from SMEs to larger corporations.
You must have completed at least one of the following:
A recognised bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline with merit achievement deemed to be a grade average of B- or higher; Or
A professional qualification in a relevant discipline, recognised as being equivalent to merit achievement in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Or
Provide sufficient evidence of aptitude or appropriate work or other life experience that would indicate a successful outcome in the qualification (only if you are 20 years or older)
English Language Requirements: IELTS test: Academic score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6. TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 79 (with a writing score of 21); PTE (Academic) score of 58 with no band score lower than 50; Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176. No less than 169 in each skill. OET: Minimum of Grade C+ or 300 in all sub-tests. NZCEL - Level 5. Language Cert - C1 Expert International ESOL Written (LRW) HIGH PASS with no less than 25/50 in each skill and Spoken (S) PASS, or C2 Mastery International ESOL Written (LRW) PASS with no less than 25/50 in each skill and Spoken (S) PASS.
