This program represents the culminating stage in achieving full architectural registration. At a postgraduate level, you'll investigate how to produce meaningful architectural designs while integrating cutting-edge design research into professional practice. Gain skills to advocate for sustainable and ethical methodologies, and enhance your capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration on architectural projects. Additionally, you'll refine your critical analysis skills for evaluating both personal work and peer contributions.
You must have completed at least one of the following:
A recognised Bachelor's degree in the discipline of architecture, with a grade point average of 4.0 (grade of B-) or higher in all Level 7 courses. Or
A recognised postgraduate diploma in a discipline appropriate to the proposed project, with a B- average. Or
A professional qualification in a relevant discipline recognised as being equivalent to the above.
English Language Requirements: IELTS test: Academic score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6. TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 79 (with a writing score of 21); PTE (Academic) score of 58 with no band score lower than 50; Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176. No less than 169 in each skill. OET: Minimum of Grade C+ or 300 in all sub-tests. NZCEL - Level 5. Language Cert - C1 Expert International ESOL Written (LRW) HIGH PASS with no less than 25/50 in each skill and Spoken (S) PASS, or C2 Mastery International ESOL Written (LRW) PASS with no less than 25/50 in each skill and Spoken (S) PASS.
