Upon completing this qualification, you'll possess: government-applicable expertise in border and biosecurity negotiation, policymaking, governance and oversight, analytical capacity to assess border management, biosecurity and maritime security operations and their intricate connections with economic and environmental protection, and the competence to implement border and biosecurity principles across national, regional and global scenarios. The Master of International Security (Border and Biosecurity) follows a sequential structure. You'll need to successfully finish Part One before advancing to Part Two. A minimum B- grade average across your initial 90 credits is required to qualify for progression to the second part.
To enter the Master of International Security (Border and Biosecurity) you will have been awarded or qualified for:
a relevant bachelor's degree with a grade average of at least B-, or
a completed Postgraduate Certificate in International Security, with at least a B- grade average, or
a completed Postgraduate Diploma in International Security, with at least a B- Grade average, 
or you will:
be able to demonstrate scholarly work in conjunction with extensive relevant professional experience and standing in leadership, managerial and planning positions in government or non-government security agencies appropriate for admission with equivalent status.
